This historic building was briefly home to King Frederick William III of Prussia and Queen Louise during the Napoleonic Wars (1807-1808). Built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries in a neoclassical style, it originally belonged to Danish consul Lork, later passing to his relative Consentius. In 1846, the city magistrate purchased the building, and it became Klaipėda’s City Hall. Since 2011, the mayor and part of the city administration have returned to this building. In 2024, major roof repairs were carried out.
